From working in a Public Analyst Laboratory as an Analytical Chemist to working in the Falkland Islands as an utilities operational manager to more recently specialising in ICA and the Smart Water Industry, Oliver has had a career with a varied experience.
Highlights include taking Anglian Water to an industry leading position in their MCERTS Flow Asset Base putting in place a permanent £1.1 million per year investment programme and working in wastewater consultancy for the States of Jersey, as well as designing and commissioning work for Grontmij (now Sweco).
He is also a Fellow of CIWEM where he acts as a reviewer and a Fellow of the Institute of Environmental Sciences and a Member of the Institute of Measurement & Control.

Frank Rogalla
Director of Innovation and Technology, FCC Aqualia
Frank is Director of Innovation and Technology at FCC Aqualia and has been involved in the development, design, construction and operation of environmental technology and infrastructure for water and wastewater treatment, working to improve water quality as well as reduce operating costs and environmental impacts by recovering energy and resources.
His specialties include large project management, mainly for municipal clients and governments, as well as the upscaling of technologies and transfer of advanced know-how, fundraising with public agencies (EU, Spanish Government), international teambuilding, coordination of consortia and public speaking and conference presentations.
Ryan Welsh
Chief Engineer - City of Cincinnati MSD
Ryan is Chief Engineer at City of Cincinnati, Metropolitan Sewer District, which protects public health and the environment through the safe and efficient collection and treatment of wastewater for 43 of the 49 political subdivisions in Hamilton County, Ohio, and small parts of Butler, Clermont, and Warren counties. He is responsible for planning, design, construction, project controls and QA/QC for MSD’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP). In addition, this division houses Development Services, Document Control, and Program Management for the Lower Mill Creek Partial Remedy (LMCPR), which includes the Lick Run Greenway project.
