New phase in EU project to generate biofuel from micro algae in wastewater

The site of the world’s largest project to obtain biofuel from the cultivation of micro algae in waste water has entered a new phase – the project is being undertaken by a European consortium led by Aqualia.

The European Union Commissioner for Energy and Climate Action, Miguel Arias Cañete has inaugurated the new phase in the All-Gas project in the El Torno treatment plant in Chiclana, Cadiz.
