World Water Film Festival Showcase at WEX Global 2026

We are excited to announce a brand-new addition to this year’s WEX Global programme: a curated selection of short films from the World Water Film Festival (WWFF).

The WWFF celebrates the human story of water which is our most precious shared resource. Through powerful visual storytelling, the festival spotlights films from around the world that explore our connection with water, the challenges we face, and the inspiring actions being taken to protect it.

By bringing filmmakers and creators together with academics, water professionals, and environmental advocates, the WWFF aims to deepen public understanding and inspire collective action against waste, pollution, and overexploitation.

Film line-up at WEX Global 2026

Session 1 – Introduction: Monday 9th 13.30 – 14.00

  1. “Water is Us” visual one-minute short.
